The 2025 Robotics Season has officially begun! This season's game: Reefscape. Teams compete to stack tube-shaped "coral" onto hooks and shoot a rubber ball, "algae," into nets, each for point values. Whichever team scores the most points at the end of the match wins! 

After kickoff, we immediately began our prototyping process, in which all team members collaborated to set priorities for the robot and share ideas. We are super excited to be attending the Ferndale Week 1 event, hosting the Woodhaven Week 4 event, and hopefully attending the State Championship and World Championship! 

This season we welcomed State Senator Darren Camilleri to our facility to advocate for STEM education in Michigan and discussed our programs. As a result, Senator Camilleri tasked us to produce a revised Michigan 99h Robotics Competition Grant for Michigan's State Budget. Our proposal will be introduced to the Michigan State Senate this April. 

This year our programs have expanded to a new district facility for Woodhaven robotics teams, including 4 new in-facility FLL teams for 5th-6th graders. We will additionally welcome interviewers for Brownstown TODAY magazine interested in writing about our programs.

We are proud to announce that this season we officially kickstarted a relationship with The LGBTQ+ of FIRST as a Gold-Tier partner.

We will produce video and document resources across mechanical, programming, and business topics throughout the season. Additionally, we will be participating in outreach events with our local partners, including Kids Against Hunger with Woodhaven Kiwanis, and gifting flowers to residents of a local senior home for Valentine's Day.
